Wild turkeys hunt season is upon us, and we have some of the most incredible public lands to hunt on.  Of course, turkey hunting is always during specific hours of the day and only for a specific period of time.  To hunt wild turkey during the spring season, a valid spring turkey hunting license and Game Bird Habitat stamp privilege are required.

Carroll County’s traditional hunting season turkey is right around the corner.  Public hunting is offered through a lottery system at The Mississippi Palisades State Park Hunting (illinois.gov) and The French Bluff Nature Area in Thomson. Hunt Illinois
