Argo Acres

We grow a wide assortment of fruits and vegetables that we sell at our farm stand in Argo Fay and at Lyons Farmers Market in Clinton, Iowa. The produce we sell is picked fresh daily!

April-June: Early in the season we have asparagus, rhubarb, strawberries plus early season greens and vegetables. These are usually sold by order.

July-November: Our farm stand opens daily in July with the start of green beans, sweet corn, and tomato harvest; and remains open through November with pumpkins, squash, gourds, and Indian corn. We also have apples, red raspberries, melons, and other seasonal vegetables. The only times we close are Wednesdays at 3:00 PM while at the farmers market and Saturday mornings. We open Saturday at 1:00. Otherwise we remain open.

Carroll County Locker

Locally raised beef and pork. Frozen fish, vegetables, fruit, turkey, chicken, steaks, and more. Check out our fresh locker for items right off the butcher table.

Fair Haven Fruit Farm

We're a family apple orchard located at the corner of Fairhaven and Creamery Roads, four miles east of Thomson, Illinois. The orchard has 600 fruit trees with 30 different varieties of apples. Come taste the latest varieties of apples, from McIntosh to Honeycrisp. We also offer honey made by our own bees! Starting at the end of July, our hours are Wednesday through Sunday noon to 5pm. Milledgeville Farmer’s Market

Wednesdays 3:00 – 6:00, May to October. The best farmers market in Northwest Illinois, offering fresh, local and homemade vegetables, meats, cheese, fresh baked goods and so much more.

Mount Carroll Farmer’s Market

The Mt Carroll Farmers Market is held on the courthouse square downtown from 8am-noon every Saturday mid-May through October. The Market features seasonal locally grown specialty crops as well as products sold by bakers, crafters, and artisans. Enjoy the opportunity to buy high quality, fresh, nutritious, affordable farm products directly from our local farmers every week! The Farmers Market is sponsored by the Mount Carroll Chamber of Commerce.

Savanna Farmer’s Market

Buy fresh, feel great! The Savanna Farmers Market is located in the pavilion next to Shiver’s Ice Cream and offers many products including seasonal fresh fruits & vegetables, crafts, honey, root vegetables, baked goods and more.
