Tiny House Cabin

Enjoy the excitement of camping with all the comforts! Features include an outdoor grilling area with table and camp chairs, queen size bed in the loft, two movie theater recliners and TV/DVD on main level, AC/heat, sink, microwave, and refrigerator. Kitchen service accommodates two with basic cooking essentials and bedding provided. Well-kept port-a-johns and an outdoor shower are close by. The Tiny House Cabin is located at Spring Lake Campground and therefore opens the experience up to all the campground has to offer! Canoe, kayak, and paddle boards rentals are available through Oct. 1 along with fishing, the Great River bike trail, pizza delivery, campfires, sunsets, and stargazing. There is a camp store on site with games, cards, necessities, snacks, and drinks. Many exciting activities are close by, including Downtown Savanna, Palisades State Park, and the Mississippi River.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Thomson Causeway Recreation Area

At 64 acres, Thomson Causeway is the largest Army Corps of Engineers recreation area on the Mississippi River. Located at a wide spot on the river, it offers unobstructed views of the more than 3-mile main channel and of Potters Marsh. Thomson Causeway is near the Great River Trail and offers biking, birding, boat launches, camping, canoeing, fishing, and hiking.
